Obituary for Ellen Stuhldreher

Ellen M. Stuhldreher

of Massillon, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 20, 2014. She was born in North Canton, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Paul and Frieda (Wendell) Braucher. Ellen was at one time a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines. She also managed AAA World Wide Travel Service which led her into owning Paradise Travel Agency. She enjoyed traveling extensively. She was active in her community, serving on the woman''s board at the Massillon Museum and Spring Hill Historic Home. At Spring Hill, Ellen was known for being a gracious hostess and loved to work in their garden and arrange flowers. She was a longtime Salvation Army Advisory Board member and served on various committees at St. Timothy''s Episcopal Church. She was an avid supporter of the Canton Symphony Orchestra. She also had a strong sense of patriotism She enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends and her early morning swims at the Massillon Recreation Center. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James K. Stuhldreher in 1958 and by two sisters. Ellen is survived by two grandchildren, Jimmy Falk and Samantha Dustman and two brothers, James (Kathleen) Braucher and Herbert Braucher.

     A memorial service will take place on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at St. Timothy''s Episcopal Church and her cremated remains will be interred at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
