Obituary for Julia J Golesh

Julia Golesh (nee Lisowsky), age 92, of Mentor, passed away on July 23, 2014.
Julie was the beloved wife of 54 years to John. She was born and raised in the Collinwood area and was a 1940 graduate of Collinwood High School, and a 1941 graduate of Dyke Business College, taking private secretarial course. In 1954 Julie and John moved to San Fernando Valley in Southern California. John was employed by General Motors Chevy Division in Van Nuys and Julie worked for Union Mutual Life Insurance Company in Los Angeles as an Administrative Assistant, and retired after 20 years of employment. They returned to the Cleveland area in 1981 and purchased a home in Mentor. They were members of the Euclid Pensioners for many years and Julie was a member and president of the Euclid Homemakers for 13 years until the group was dissolved.
Julie was preceded in death by her loving husband John in December of 2003.
She is survived by loving sister-in-law, Dolly Gospich Mahakian of West Hills, CA; nephew, Bobby Gospich; nieces, Denise Cerne and Karen Major; and she was a Great Aunt of 4.
Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to treasured friends Kolleen and Mark Kovalski for their devotion and loving care. Also to dear friend Denise Shaw for her personal help and friendship for many years.
Funeral Services will be 12 Noon, Monday, July 28, at the Jakubs-Danaher Funeral Home, 36000 Lake Shore Blvd., Eastlake, where friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.
Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Twp.
