Obituary for Edwin L Cook
Edwin Lee Cook, age 98, of Mentor, passed away on July 20, 2014.
He was born in Mullins, W.Va., on April 15, 1916, the son of Frank and Pearl Cook.
Edwin loved working with his hands and at an earlier age you would often times find him camping. He also had four cats that he loved, Sprocket, Mike, Miko, and Molly. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed by many.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, June Cook; his daughter-in-law, Charlotte Cook; his granddaughter, Vicki (Dennis) Hager; and his great-grandchildren, Zak, Courtney (Dan) Dimatteo, and Danielle Hager.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Roger Cook.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday also at the funeral home.
