Obituary for Betty Jane Johnson

NORTH LIMA - There will be Services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens Chapel for Betty Jane Johnson, 88, who went to be with her Lord and Savior early Sunday morning at Caprice Health Care Center.

Betty was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Bessie Hawker Marshall.

She had attended Princeton Junior High and South High Schools. Betty had been employed by a local steel mill after high school and later with her husband, Lester, had owned and operated the Johnson and Borden Dairy Store and the Twilight Lounge in Youngstown.

Betty is survived by her brother, Donald Marshall of Youngstown and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Lester E. Johnson; eight brothers; and three sisters.

The family would like to thank the staff of Caprice Health Care for their compassionate care and concern for Betty.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel prior to the service.
