Obituary for David M. Singleton

 David "Rat" Michael Singleton, age 62, of Lake Aquilla Village, died on Thursday, May 15, in Madison Twp. David was born in Cleveland on April 28, 1952, and was a life long resident of the Chardon Area. He was a graduate of Chardon High School, Class of 1971, and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. On June 6, 1992, he married Judy (nee Miller) in Chardon. "Rat" was an avid sports fans, especially the Cleveland teams, and enjoyed camping with his grandchildren and family in Thompson Twp. Ford cars and trucks, and NASCAR racing were his passions. Survivors include his wife, Judy (nee Miller) of Lake Aquilla; daughter, Wendy (Ken) Luther of Madison Village; son, Zane (Becky) Coffin of Geneva; grandchildren, Megan, Devon, Bob, Morgan, Matt, Trevor, Rachel, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Trenton; sisters, Pam Singleton and Helen (Mike) Burrow of Lake Aquilla, and Kathy (Jeff) Ferguson of Chardon. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thurs., May 22,  Visitation will be Wed., May 21, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Thurs., May 22, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
