Obituary for Iva M. Egleston
Funeral services for Iva M. Egleston, age 97, of Painesville, formerly of Willoughby for 75 years will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014. Mrs. Egleston passed away April 28, 2014, at Manor Care Health Services in Willoughby. She was born October 22, 1916, in Wickliffe. Mrs. Egleston was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Alice (Robert) Smalley, Ida Caudill, Dorothy (Mohammad) Adomayakpor, Carl Lee (Hope) Egleston Jr., Linda Haynes, Elma (Robert) Rice, Amie L. Rice, Mary (Leroy) Campbell, and Marjorie (Gary) Gross; 20 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren; five sisters; one brother; and aunt to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lee Egleston Sr.; grandson, Carl Lee Egleston III; three brothers; and daughter-in-law, Betty J. Egleston. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township. -
