Obituary for Janet D. Cook
Together Again" Janet DaLee Cook, 76, of Eastlake and formerly of Willoughby, passed away at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland on May 1, 2014. She was born October 9, 1937, in Willoughby to the late Harold "Mick" and Leota Morton. She was retired from Lawson''s Milk Company and was the former owner of Cook''s Beverage and Deli. Janet enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and going to casinos. She was an avid Browns and Indians fan. Most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Jerry Cook of Willoughby and Jodi (Bob) Nethken of Mentor; her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Dina), Jessica, and Travis Cook, Trevor, Sara, and Troy Nethken; her great grandchildren, Eddie and Angelina; her siblings, Mickey (Cindy) Morton of Willoughby and Debbie (Bill) Collins of Palm Harbor, FL; her sister-in-law, Judy Sutton of Eastlake; and she was an aunt and cousin to many. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gerald; and her son, Jeff. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11 am at the funeral home. Visitation will be Friday 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
