LaVerne was born June 27, 1928, in Youngstown, to parents James and Mabel (Rice) Wilding.

LaVerne married Paul Paglia on May 10, 1947, and together they had four wonderful children.

LaVerne was a homemaker and active member of the Wickliffe Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, however, her favorite past time was watching and feeding the birds and just being out in nature.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Driscoll and twin sons, Russell and James, all of Austintown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Paul M.; sister, Jean Hodge; and brother, James Wilding.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. following visitation on Wednesday

Interment will be held at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield
