Obituary for Daniel C Moss
LAKE MILTON - Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Daniel C. Moss, 64, who died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Maplewood Care Centre.
Mr. Moss was born July 7, 1949, in Youngstown, the son of Carl D. and Jane (Ferre) Moss Jr.
Dan was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School He was the owner of D&R Water Supply in North Jackson, and thoroughly enjoyed his work. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, ballroom dancing with his wife, and boating on Lake Milton. His greatest joy was spending time with his loving wife, his step grandchildren and step-children. Dan was a member of; Lakeview Assembly of God , Western Mahoning County Kiwanis since 1975, the Lake Milton Association, American Range, NRA, and American Legion Post 737, Lake Milton.
He leaves behind his parents, Carl D. and Jane (Ferre) Moss Jr; his beloved wife, Rosalia (Layman) Moss; his children, Daniel Moss Jr., and Christina Moss, his stepchildren, Ramil (Pomposa) Layman of California, Marilou (Warren Mascarina) Layman of California and Steven (Kari) Layman of North Carolina; his step grandchildren, Kara, R.J. and J.R. Layman; his siblings, Frank (Diane) Moss, Carol (Tim) Wolfgang and family, and David (Diana) Moss and family, all of Youngstown; his extended family, Karen (Anthony) Centofanti and family, Charles (the late Marilyn) Layman, Rich (Denise) Layman, and Beth Layman and many nieces and nephews.
Dan will be loved and missed by all of his friends and family.
Friends may call Monday, April 14, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to the time of Services at 11 a.m. . at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
