Ruby Vivian Street
Ruby Vivian Street was born January 28, 1933 she passed away peacefully on March 6, 2014 at Grant Medical Center.
She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, an she was retireded from the University of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Allen "Toga" Christian; sisters, Ann Ford, Eva Rate Culver, Carrie Allison, Mildred Christian, and James Christian; son, Attorney Lairold M. Street.
She is survived by her children, Ronald D. (Dianne) Street of Barberton, Ohio, Alonza James "Ricky" Street III and Angela Street-Underwood of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Dr. Shelly V. (Charles) Callender, Ronald D. (Nardos Tadesse) Street, Andre, Chipalo, Jalika,Merrisa and Alonza; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Home going service will be held Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Rhoden Memorial Home 1101 Palmetto Ave at 4 p.m. Family will receive friends beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Lorenzo Glenn eulogizing. Interment will be held at Mt. Peace Cemetery on Monday March 17, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to 2246 S. Hamilton Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43232.
