Zelma L. XFerguson passed away March 5, 2014 in Glendale, Ariz.
She was born in Akron and had lived most of her life in this community. The last five years of her life she lived in Glendale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kay V. Jackson Sr.; stepfather, Edward X Barefield; brother, Kay V. Jackson Jr.; sister, Charlene R. Jackson; grandparents, Mr and Mrs John (Georgia) Cole; son-in-law, John Carter; she is survived by daughters, Karmen Denise Carter of Arizona, Kendra D. XMorrow Hills of Cleveland, and Kay D. XMorrow Gregory of Lyndhurst, Ohio; mother, Irene X Barefield; brothers, Tommy Jackson (Oradell), Robert XRogers (Augustine) both of Akron; sisters, Irene D. Jackson, Asya Minter (A.C. Minter), Esther M. Battles of Cleveland, Georgia A. McCormick (Charles) of Akron, Carlisa XJackson of Akron; six grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held TODAY, March 15, 2014, 11 a.m. at the Rhoden Memorial Home Chapel, Min. Stephen Muhammad officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Condolence may be sent to 4838 S. Sedgewick Rd., Lyndhurst, OH 44124
