Bessie R. Pearson (Eldress) "Ms. Cornbread"
Bessie R. Pearson, (Eldress) "Ms. Cornbread", 70, was born January 2, 1944 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas to the late Bessie (Graves) and Denzel Jones. She departed this life February 24, 2014.
Bessie was preceded in death her parents and brother, Darzal Jones, all of Phoenix, Arizona.
Bessie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Johnny "Cornbread" Pearson; daughter, Gloria Jones; grandson, DeAnthony Jones; and great-grandson, Davyon Jones, all of Akron, Ohio; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
Service will be held Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at The House of Jacob, 1016 Lovers Lane, Akron, OH 44306, Honorable Senior Bishop James Mathias Pearson officiating. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1195 Bellevue Ave., Akron, Oh 44320
