Obituary for James B. Shirey, Jr.

James B. Shirey, Jr. 72, of Perry for 17 years, passed away March 3, 2014, in Madison. He was born February 23, 1942, in Cleveland. Mr. Shirey was a lifetime auto mechanic and service manager, lastly working at Tony LaRiche. He was a member of Aspinwall Church of God. James loved music, a musician himself playing the saxophone in Jean Fillowick Orchestra/Top Five. Survivors are his beloved wife of 29 years, Martha Jean Bundy; children, James III, Joseph (Donna), Dawn (Joseph) Bastulli, Jeffrey (Stephanie), Jennifer Crowder, Jason (Lawanda) and Robert Bundy; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Spuzzillo; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Estelle; sisters, Margaret Kerro and Patricia Miller. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jack Monreal-Coyne Funeral Home, corner of E. 320th and Vine Streets, Willowick. Funeral will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Garden Cemetery.
