Alan L. Bable, 49, departed this life February 23, 2014, after a long illness.
He was born March 6, 1964, to Bobby and Mildred Bable. He attended Akron Public Schools and was a proud graduate of John R. Buchtel High School Class of 1982.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby L. and Mildred G. Bable; sister, Diane Bable; aunts, Sally Quimbley; great-aunt, Clara Keaton; and cousin, Terry Hall. He is survived by sister, Angelia R. Bable (Akron, Ohio); brother, Robert B. Bable (Oakland, Calif.); special nephew, Avery Bable; and uncle, Jim (Cindy) Hall (Akron, Ohio); lifelong friends, Freddy, Shawn, Steve, Kevin, Ronnie; and long time friend, Joey Gissendaner.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Benson Bonyo, Summa Health System ICU (T3), and The Akron Canton Kidney Center for their continuous care of Alan.
Calling hours will begin at 2 p.m. with final service following on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave. Burial will take place on Monday, March 3, at 10 a.m. at Mount Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1086 Thorndale Drive, Akron, Ohio 44320. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord
