Leslie M. Ruple, 82, made her transition to her eternal rest on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
Born in Prattsville, Alabama to Lillie. B Flaunker and John Jones. She was a devoted Christian and member of Mt. Haven Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gussie M. Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Watson; nephew, Billy Taylor; great-grandson/son, Dorain (Talesha) Davis, Sr.; grandchildren, Dorothy Davis-Ferguson, Sharon Davis, Yolanda Watson, Wallace Watson, III, Marvin Watson, Alphonso Watson and David Angelo; great-granddaughter, Lalquilla Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Mt. Haven Baptist Church, 545 Noble Ave., Akron, Ohio 44320, Pastor Richard Cash officiating. Calling hours will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 897 Hardesty Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44320
