93 passed away on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on Aug. 15, 1920 to the late Thomas and Laura (Herman) Hill. She was a graduate of Washington High School and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Betty is survived by a sister-in-law, Marjorie Hill; nephew, Thomas Hill; numerous great- and great- great-nephews; and her neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Bauer and a brother, Thomas Hill.
Friends and family may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 p.m., Pastor Michael Knibbs, officiating. Burial will be private at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
