The Life of MARK STEVEN LUNDBERG
Mark S. Lundberg, 62, was born April 29, 1951 in Des Moines, the son of Edsel and Hazel Lundberg. He passed away February 5, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Mark was a restoration painter for the state of Iowa and artist by trade. He loved working in general, wood carving and fishing. Mark had a great love for boxer dogs and always had one as a pet. He was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and enjoyed watching movies. Above all else, Mark treasured his family and their time spent together.
Mark is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandy; his children, Denise and Travis; sister, Linda (David) Brightwell, and his mother, Hazel. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
