The Life of JAMES ALLEN WEICHMAN
James “Jimmy” Weichman, 51, was born March 13, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed away January 6, 2014.
Jimmy loved Mardi Gras. He belonged to a private organization that participated in numerous functions throughout the year related to Mardi Gras and would travel “back home” to Mobile, Alabama every spring for over 30 years to celebrate Mardi Gras and ride on the floats. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball and football. One of his favorite teams was the Alabama Tide – ROLL TIDE!!! Jimmy was also a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He lived life to the fullest and surrounded himself with people and loved to have fun. Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jimmy is survived by his parents, Janet Lawrence (Robert) and John (Maria) Weichman; children, James Jr. and Sarah (Brandon); granddaughter, McKenzie; siblings, Angela and Michael; other loving relatives and many special friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Jimmy.
