The Life of NAOMI EVA ELLEN SEEBURGER

Naomi Seeburger, 99, was born March 15, 1914 in What Cheer, Iowa, the daughter of Homer and Bertha Snodgrass. She passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 in Moorhead, Iowa.

Nan was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. She loved traveling, square dancing, and wintering in Texas for 25 years.

Nan is survived by her sons, Karl (Pat) Seeburger and Michael (Mary Jo) Seeburger; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Miller; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Seeburger; great-grandson, David Krupa; one brother and three sisters.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2014 at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association in loving memory of Nan.
