The Life of Larry Swinehart
Services for Larry R. Swinehart, 67, of Painesville, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday immediately prior to the services. Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. Mr. Swinehart passed away Dec. 7, 2013, at his home. Born Nov. 24, 1946, in Lock Haven, Pa., Larry served in the U.S. Army as a Green Beret. He also was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed watching the Indians, Browns and The Ohio State University teams. Larry retired from Hose Masters this year. Survivors are his mother, Marian (Spong) Swinehart; brothers, Randy (Mary Linda) Swinehart of Indiana and Mark (Lori) Swinehart of Painesville; sister, Pamela (Daniel) Nagle of Painesville; nieces and nephews, Jody (Amber) Swinehart, Nicholas Swinehart, Carey (Matt) Yonchak and Dana Nagle; and two great-nieces, Ashlyn and Makenna Yonchak. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center at Taussig Cancer Institute, 9500 Euclid Ave., Suite S80, Cleveland, OH 44195.
