The Life of Anne Chopiak Marino

Anne Marino, age 87, of East Haven, and beloved wife to the late John Thomas Marino, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born on April 17, 1926 in Aliquippa, PA to the late Peter and Pearl Chopiak. Anne loved her friends and family, all animals; especially her dogs, and as a member of the Republican Party for many years enjoyed discussing politics. One of her greatest hobbies was collecting dolls and stuffed bears. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Anne is survived by her loving children Gail Scalesse (Richard) of FL and John A Marino (Cheryl) of PA; grandchildren Lowell, John, Mark, and Alan Ferguson, Erica, Richard, and Alexandria Scalesse, John Thomas and Tyler Marino; great grandchildren Evelyn, Vivan, Vera, Osmund Ferguson, Luca Jon Hagstrom; and many loving nephews and niece. In addition to her husband, Anne was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Anne Ferguson. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 10:00 am at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. Friends and family may call from 9:00 – 10:00 am prior to the Prayer Service on Tuesday, November 26 at The Cody-White Funeral Home.
