The Life of JOAN M ADAM

Joan M. Adam, 87, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on January 23, 2023, at Berks Heim.

She was the loving wife of Ralph L. Adam. They were married on April 23, 1955 and enjoyed over 67 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Edith (Zimmerman) Metivier.

She was a member of St. Margaret's RCC, Reading.

Joan was a secretary at Beryllium, Boscov's and McGlinn Photography until her retirement.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Karen (Patrick) Hoyer, Downingtown; Joyce (Jerry) Bauer, Lancaster; David (Lori) Adam, Omaha, NE; and Michael (Lori) Adam, Robesonia; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dolores Gantert, Muhlenberg Twp.

A prayer service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, with entombment to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
