The Life of DARHOL MARION MILLER

Darhol M. Miller, of Des Moines, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, with his loving family by his side. Darhol was born on June 17, 1936 in Des Moines to Trana (Mitchell) and Walter Miller. Darhol met the love of his life, Beverly, when they were teenagers and the two have been married for 58 years. You may even have seen Darhol walking the cat “surveying” the neighborhood. Most of all Darhol loved his family and he will be greatly missed. Those left behind to cherish Darhol’s memory are, his loving wife, Beverly; his daughter, Deborah (Philip) Trent; grandsons, Andrew Dobbins, Adam (Melissa) Dobbins and Brice Jones; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Boden and Kamden Dobbins; special nieces and nephews; and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Barbara Sturdevant and his great- granddaughter, Avery Dobbins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memory Garden Cemetery.
