The Life of MARCOS ANTONIO RAMIREZ
Marcos Ramirez, 53, was born December 17, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa, son of Marcos and Mercedes Ramirez. He passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marcos retired as a concrete finisher. He cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.
Marcos is survived by his children, Anastacia M. Pederson, Marcos S. Ramirez, Cameo A. Ramirez, and Zamia Ramirez; grandchildren, Elias E. Pederson and Anaz K. Clarke; brother, Juan G. (Chris) Ramirez; sisters, Madelyn Parmenter, Lupe (Gene) Simmons, Angie Ramirez, Louisa (Bob) Palmer, and Julie (Cal) Ramirez-Sams; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Vincente Ramirez, Felipe Ramirez, Salvador Ramirez, and Jose Ramirez.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in loving memory of Marcos.
