The Life of ANNA M KLIX

Anna M. Klix, 88, passed away in her Reading residence, on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was the loving widow of Robert H. Klix Jr, who died on January 8, 2017. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Pokrywa) Kline. For 25 years, Anna worked at Hoffman Industry as a steel worker before retiring in 1994. It was here that she met her husband, Robert. They would marry in 1987. Anna was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle R.C. Church. After her retirement, she began to volunteer as a cafeteria aid at La Salle Academy, and she remained a dedicated volunteer for 10 years. She was strong and independent for a woman of her time, and she was always extremely loving and kind. Everyone who met her considered her a warm and grandmotherly figure. Anna's memory will be cherished by her children: Kelly A. Riegel of Reading and Edward H., husband of Jennifer Winters, of Shillington; her step children Robert Klix III and Barry Klix; her eight grandchildren; her many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and her brother Ralph, husband of Joyce Kline, of Springfield, FL In addition to her husband, Anna was predeceased by her daughters Colleen M. Winters and Maria L. Clouser, her son Richard E. Winters Jr., sister, Florence (Tootie) Nowotarski, brothers, Edward (Auckey), Augustus (Buddy), John Sr. (Skip), Raymond (Lynx) Kline. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 42 Kerrick Rd, Shillington, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Viewing will be at the church from 9:30 AM until the start of Mass. The Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, is entrusted with arrangements.
