The Life of JENNE A. KIMBALL

Jenne Ann Kimball, 93, passed away on December 9, 2022, at the Highlands. She was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Belli) DePiero. She is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) Kimball and three children: David and his wife Kirstie Brodie; Bruce and his husband David Tanner; Susan and her husband William James (Jay) Conlin III; and six grandchildren: William James (Jim) Conlin IV and his wife Ameera Agha, Katherine Kimball, Andrew Kimball, Bennett Conlin, Megan Conlin, and Alexandra Kimball. Jenne attended schools in Schenectady, N.Y. and graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Plant Science. While working for the General Electric Company in the Knolls Atomic Power Plant in Schenectady, she met and married Dick. Shortly after, they moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia where all three of their children were born. Subsequently, they moved to Chatham Township, N.J. and then Wyomissing, PA. Besides caring for her family, she enjoyed tennis, bridge, and The Garden Club of Reading. At one time Jenne and two business partners renovated and resold row homes in Reading. She then went on with her two partners to open "Floral Occasions," a wedding floral design company. Contributions to the community over time included Caron Foundation Auxiliary Board Member, Alvernia University Auxiliary Board Member, assisting with maintenance of flower gardens at the Reading Public Museum, and participation in bible study groups and the liturgy committee at Sacred Heart Church. She was a member of the Wyomissing Park and Shade Tree Commission for over ten years. In later years, Jenne developed a knack for visual merchandising, utilizing this talent for The Highlands retirement community in the gift shop and display cases. Services will be private. Edward J.
