The Life of RICHARD WARREN RAMSEY
Richard Ramsey, 80, passed away September 26, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. He was born April 28, 1933 in Des Moines, the son of Dollie and Theodore Ramsey.
Dick enjoyed going to garage sales, flea markets and spending time with his family.
Dick is survived by his children, Robin Van Arkel, Ric Ramsey and Renee Ramsey; grandchildren, Liberty (Brad) Van Genderen, Jeremy (Jen) Van Arkel, Zachary Ramsey and Jordan Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Mekhia, Masio, Serenity and Kian. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon; and his brothers, Ralph Higgins and Theodore Ramsey.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
