The Life of Virginia Fentress

Virginia M. Fentress, 96, of Solon, an extremely devoted mother and grandmother, passed away Aug. 13, 2013, in Willoughby.She was born Jan. 5, 1917, in Cleveland. Mrs. Fentress attended Shaw High and worked as a bookkeeper in the auto dealership industry for many years. Virginia also volunteered at Lake West Hospital for many years.She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen L. (Phil) Tuttle; grandchildren, Megan (Gordon) Petronsky and Maureen (Jay) Robinson; great-granddaughters, Aldyn Petronsky and Ellie Robinson; neice, Barbara Carmichael; and nephew, Ed (Carol) Langer.She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene R.; and sister, Evelyn Langer. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to Spiritual Life Endowment Fund at Breckenridge Village, 36855 Ridge Road, Willoughby, OH 44094.
