The Life of Linda Dimauro Renker

Linda Ann Renker, age 67, beloved wife of Howard Renker of Southington, died peacefully on August 10, 2013 at the Village Green of Bristol. Born in New Haven on May 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Ann Fraulo DiMauro. Mrs. Renker was a long time resident of Ansonia and Cheshire before moving to Southington in 2001. She was a graduate of St. Raphael’s School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Raphael’s Hospital and Griffin Hospital. She also worked as a School Nurse for the Plymouth school system before her retirement. Mrs. Renker was a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God for over 30 years. She and her husband had founded the Cornerstone Church in Cheshire and currently have been pastors of Bethel Christian Church in Bristol. In addition to her husband of 44 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Joel (Cara) Renker of Cheshire; Jonathan Renker of Costa Mesa, CA; Joshua (Elizabeth) Renker of Bristol and Sarah Renker of Southington; brother Joseph (Jan) DiMauro of Derby; sisters Grace (Richard) Morris of East Granby, Donna (George) Balsamo of Seymour and Lori Pedevillano of Ansonia; 9 cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Interment Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013, at 9:00 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery, 15 Church St., Ansonia. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 12:00 noon, in the Bethel Christian Church, 750 Stevens Street, Bristol. Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 15, 2013, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia.
