The Life of GERALDINE LOUISE COOPER

Geraldine Cooper, 82, passed into eternal rest on August 1, 2013, in Des Moines. She was born November 9, 1930, in Des Moines, to Clayton and Hilda Miller. Jeri graduated from North High School, class of ’49. She was an active 50-year member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed crafting, cooking, sewing, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeri is survived by her husband of 60 years, Hobert; children, John (Jan) Cooper, Cindy (Don) Dyer, and Diane (Steve) Thompson; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; her sister, Janice Hinson; sister-in-law, Betty (Bob) Cardwell; as well as many other family members and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robert Miller. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, 321 Euclid Avenue, Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. A private family burial will occur on Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park Presbyterian Church or to the donor’s choice in loving memory of Geraldine.

I miss you more and more with each passing year! I miss being able to just pick up the phone and call you and ask for advice or just chat and vent. You would loved to have met your great grand babies!!
