The Life of JEROLD GLEN FLEMING
Jerold “Fuddy” G. Fleming, 79, passed away July 21, 2013, at Unity Pointe Health Des Moines Lutheran. He was born March 20, 1934, in Patterson, Iowa to Harley and Hetta Fleming.
Fuddy enjoyed camping and watching NASCAR. He loved visiting with his friends at McDonald’s and taking long leisurely car rides to look at scenery.
Fuddy is survived by his wife, Jackie; sons, Mark (Susan) Riekens and Micheal Enos; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Sondra); and furry companion, Minnie. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sue; his parents; 5 brothers, George, Elmo, Lou, Fred and Carl Fleming; and 5 sisters, Gladys Pickering, Effie Beaman, Hazel Pettie, Mary Snider and Wilma Snider.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
