The Life of MARY F. SMITH-MCCLELLAND

Mary G. (Fucci) Smith McClelland, 98, formerly of Reading, passed away Sunday, August 29th, at Laurel Center, Hamburg. Mary was born in Cresson, Cambria county, on March 14, 1923, a daughter of the late Filomena (Marrietta) and Angelo  Fucci. She was the widow of Joseph Smith in 1981 and Eugene McClelland in 2015. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Mary graduated from Reading High School in 1943. Mary worked as a claims adjuster for CNA, later, a part time clerk at Wengers Bakery, for 15 years. Mary is  survived by two sons Thomas, husband of Karen Smith, Pennside and Edward, husband of Veronica Smith, Reading; daughter in law Linda Smith. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Lisa, wife of Michael Wentzel, Ryan Smith and Marijo Smith, partner of Derrick and great grandson Anthony Filippini; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Mark and was the last of 11 siblings.
