The Life of BILLY GENE ROTE
Billy Gene Rote, 82, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013. He was born April 13, 1931. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will occur one hour prior to the service.
Billy proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired truck driver.
Billy is survived by his children, Connie (Jeff) Beckley, Billy Rote, Michelle Robb, and Michael Rote; grandchildren, Angie, Andrea, Kevin, Rickelle, and Tony; and his great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Claire, and Grace.
