The Life of DOREEN JUNE WOODFORD
Doreen J. Woodford, 55, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at Taylor House Hospice, from cancer. She was born May 18, 1958, to William and Caroll Woodford in Des Moines.
Doreen graduated from East High School and worked in computers for many years. She most recently graduated from ITT Tech in April and was so proud for earning her degree. Doreen enjoyed fishing and going to Prairie Meadows.
Doreen is survived by her mother, Caroll Woodford; sister, Debbie (Brian) Personett; nephew, Kyle (fiancé, Liz Katsrup) Wickersham; aunt, Dorothy Tessier; three cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Woodford.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memorial Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
