The Life of Thomas E. Henk

Thomas E. Henk, 58, of Jefferson formerly of Mentor, died Saturday April 20, 2013, at home. He was born Aug. 15, 1954, in Cleveland. Mr. Henk was a machinist in the Lake County area for the past 30 years working at the former Coe Mfg. in Painesville. Tom enjoyed refurbishing cars, especially VW ""Bugs"", hunting, fishing and was a true outdoorsman. He was a graduate of Mentor High School class of 1972. Tom is survived by his son, Kyle Henk of Madison; brother, Mike (Margaret) Henk of Mentor; sister, Jennifer (Bob) Murray of Mentor-on-the-Lake; mother, Kathryn Henk of Mentor; grandmother, Margaret Mortimer of Mentor; many nieces and nephews; and former wife, Wanda Olp of Mayfield Heights. He was preceded in death by his son, Coewen Thomas Henk; father, Carl Henk; sister, Becky Greaves; and nephew, Matt Henk. A Celebration of Tom''s life will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday May 3, 2013, at Mentor Headlands Community Center, 9096 Lake Overlook Drive, Mentor. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in care of the family.
