The Life of JOSEPHINE F LENOSKY

Josephine Frances Lenosky Josephine Frances Lenosky, 95, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away peacefully April 12, 2021 in Berks Heim. She was the loving wife of Peter Paul Lenosky, who passed away in 1998. Born March 11, 1926 in Norwegian Township, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Joseph and Catherine Mary (Kelly) Pulaski. Josephine was a graduate of Pottsville High School and later graduated from beauty school. She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, where she was active in the women’s club. She was also a volunteer with the Knights of Columbus. The early years of Josephine’s marriage to Peter were spent traveling as Peter served in and retired from the Air Force. They moved all across the country as well as serving abroad in Spain. She enjoyed the military life and the chance to see new places. Her family was always her main priority. Her kind and gentle spirit was ever present throughout her life. She successfully owned and operated her own beauty salon, while raising her 6 children. She loved gardening and playing cards. Josephine is survived by her children: Patricia Ann, wife of John L. Lecce of Exeter Township; Bernadette Marie, widow of Herbert B. Bechtel of Muhlenberg Township; Regina Marie, wife of John B. Boettcher of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin; Joselle Ann Trois of Muhlenberg Township; Paul Peter, widower of Karen Lenosky and Beverly Ann, widow of Mark Runge. Also surviving are her 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren In addition are her siblings: Jean Fliegel, widow of Jack, NJ; Betty, wife of Tony Billas of Coal Township and Diane Bossack, widow of Frank of East Stroudsburg. She was preceded in death by her sister: Mary T. Zebertavage and brothers Robert Pulaski and John “Jack” Pulaski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am, Friday, April 16th at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church. A viewing will be held from 10-11 am in the church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.
