The Life of DARWIN DOYLE NYSTROM
Darwin "Dagger" Doyle Nystrom, son of Joseph and Louvisa Nystrom (Wheeler), was born January 4, 1939 in Des Moines, IA and passed away on May 1, 2013. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church in Urbandale.
Darwin was a loving family man. He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Shirley; his son Rick; his parents; his brother Bud; his sisters, Vera, Verna, and Neoma
Still living are his daughters, Kelli Csader and Melinda Toomey; sons-in-law, Fred Csader and John Toomey; grandchildren, Jeff Miller, Janelle Brown, Ricky Miller; Step-grandchildren, Freddie and Jenny Csader; great-grandchildren, Elisha, Levi, Hannah, Sarah and Kasen; and four step great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
He was a hard-working former US Marine, a member of Teamsters Local 147, and retired from H&W Motor Express in 1998 after 34 years. Darwin passed his work ethic to his children and although he ran a ship shape household, he was a loving and sincerely generous man. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church.
