The Life of VIOLET MAY ANDERSON
Violet M. Anderson, 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday April 22, 2013 at the New Testament Baptist Church, 3020 E. 38th Street in Des Moines. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Violet worked for a number of years in Des Moines at the National Handcraft Company. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church.
Violet is survived by her husband, Edward, whom she married on May 18, 1953; two sisters; Betty Lemon and Patricia Rigges; and one brother, Art Brobst.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the New Testament Baptist Church.
