The Life of Gerald "Steve" Gautreaux
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2013 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Gerald "Steve" Gautreaux, 44, who passed away on April 9, 2013 at his residence at 7:50 am.
Reverend Jeff Ables, Pastor of Crossroads Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Gautreaux, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of the late Gerald Gautreaux and the former Linda Chiasson.
He is survived by his mother, Linda C. Gautreaux of Lafayette, LA; his wife Chantelle R. Gautreaux of Lafayette, LA; one daughter, Rainsley Gautreaux of Lafayette, LA; two sons, Kody Gautreaux of Scott, LA and Jesse Gautreaux of Covington, LA; one step daughter, Courtney Romero of Lafayette, LA; two grandchildren, Loriana and Cassidy; and one sister, Kim Gautreaux Evans of Covington, LA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Joseph Gautreaux, his paternal grandparents, Lenis and Helen Gautreaux and his maternal grandparents, Wallis and Thelma Chiasson.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Terry Evans, Mike Moreland, Gus Menard, Kevin Landry, Greg Morvant and John "T-Pat" Romero.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Joe, Ms. Lisa and the entire staff at Hospice of Acadiana, for their love and care during Steve''s illness.
