The Life of KATHLEEN ANN FINCHER
Kathleen “Kathy” Fincher, 69, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 29, 2013, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Kathy was born January 23, 1944, in Des Moines to Jack and Olda (Reece) Ricketts. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, music, dancing, and lilacs, her favorite flower. She loved her dogs, Molly and Corky, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Larry; daughters, Laura (Jack) Thompson, Robyn (Bubba) Bollenbaugh, and Jennifer (Steve) Walker; grandchildren, Joe, Nick, Jake, Sammi (Andy), Shannon (Marty), and Rylie; and her great-granddaughter, Tenley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
