The Life of Ruth Blaze Branch
Ruth B. Branch, age 95 wife of the late Joseph E. Branch Sr. and Shelton resident, entered into eternal rest March 27. She was born January 29, 1918 in Derby, daughter of the late Frank & Elsie Locke Blaze. Ruth was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ansonia and a member of the United Methodist Women. Ruth is survived by her son Joseph E. Branch Jr. of Ansonia, daughter Elsie Smith of Castleberry, Fl., brother Frank Blaze of Seymour, & 10 grand, 18 great grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her sister Rowena Warecke. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
