The Life of SHARON KAY RAMSEY
Sharon Kay Ramsey, 74, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Sharon was born April 29, 1938, in Indianola, Iowa, to Owen and Lola Gideon.
Sharon enjoyed gardening, baking, and going to garage sales. She was a talented painter, and loved spending time with her family.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard; children, Robin Van Arkel, Ric Ramsey, and Renee Ramsey; grandchildren, Liberty (Brad) Van Genderen, Jeremy (Jen) Van Arkel, Zachary Ramsey, and Jordan Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Mekhia, Masio, Serenity, and Kian; and sisters, Marilyn Robinson and Ruth Gideon.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
