The Life of MARCELLA MATILDA FINK
Marcella Fink, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Union Park Health Care Center.
Marcella was born July 5, 1925 in Des Moines to Clarence and Beda (Johnson) Cunningham. She grew up in the Des Moines area and graduated from North High School in 1945. In 1948, she married Richard Fink and moved to Dows, in 1956, they moved to Des Moines, where she spent the remainder of her life.
She was a homemaker and also worked at Grant''''s Retail Store for ten years, retiring in 1978. Marcella loved gardening, scratch ticket and reading.
Marcella is survived by her children, Beda (Dan) Hobbs; Paul (Cindy) Fink and Lynette Gallegos; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard Fink.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
