The Life of REED JUNIOR INMAN
Reed J. Inman, 79, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at Park Ridge Care Facility in Pleasant Hill. He was born July 1, 1933, in Prairie Township, Iowa, to Neva and Reed K. Inman.
Reed worked as a heavy equipment operator for Baker Group before retiring in 1998. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Reed enjoyed the many talents of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He spent many weekends cheering on his grandchildren at their stock car races and musical performances, and was his great-grandchildren’s greatest fan at their sporting events.
Reed is survived by his sons, Randy (Pat) Inman and Allen (Patty) Inman; daughter, Linda (Donny) Wright; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley (Dale) Walker, Ron Inman, Henry (Gina) Inman, and Rick (Deb) Inman, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years of marriage, Marilyn; his parents; and his brother, Jerry Inman.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
