The Life of Beatrice Oliver Cook

Beatrice Cook, age 92, wife of the late William Cook and former longtime resident of Ansonia currently of Shelton, entered into eternal rest Jan. 6. She was born June 26, 1920 in St. Stephens, New Brunswick Canada . Beatrice was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Ansonia. She is survived by her son William Cook Jr. of Winsted, daughter Lynda Willets of Florida, her sister Grace Oliver of Seymour, brother George Oliver in Arkansas, 9 grandchildren & several great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her son Roger Cook, daughter Barbara Simon, sisters Mildred Lunn, Florence Menard & brother Wendell Oliver. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 10:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The First Baptist Church, 235 Prindle Ave. Ansonia.
