The Life of Loretta Klosenski Sembrowich

Mrs. Loretta Sembrowich, age 89, of Oxford, beloved wife of the late Elmer Sembrowich, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Waterbury Hospital. She was born on December 27, 1923 in Oxford and was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Bennick) Klosenski. Mrs. Sembrowich was a crane operator for Farrel Corp. in Ansonia for many years before her retirement. She was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church and a member of Oxford Senior Center. She was a member and past president of Farrel Old Timers Club and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Sembrowich is survived by her devoted son, Louis Sembrowich and his wife, Diane of Cordova, TN and two grandchildren, Sean Sembrowich and Lorie Laird and four great grandchildren, Emma & Ian Laird and Daly & Gracie Sembrowich. Her brothers, Henry & Walter Klosenski and her sisters, Frances Jaworoski and Gertrude Clancy predeceased her. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. Calling Hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the service. Interment will be private. Memorial Contributions may be made to AFSPCA, 424 E 92nd St. New York, NY 10128-6804.
