The Life of ALICE JANE WOOD
Alice, 71, passed away January 3. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 10 at Merle Hay Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Alice Jane Wood, the daughter of George and Jeanette (Conklin) Bulick, was born August 5, 1941 in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Alice’s priority in life was caring for people, as a CNA at Karen Acres and Wesley Acres, and as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Alice will rejoin her husband, Norman, on their wedding anniversary, January 10.
Alice is remembered by her sons, Raymond Wood and John Wood; grandchildren: Jodi, Rose, Nicholas, and Jaime; her great-grandchildren: Dominick, Katarina, Jason, and Haily; her sister, Janet Brown; and a host of other friends and relatives.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman; son, Keith Allen; and her two brothers, Bobby Jo and Cecil Eugene.
