The Life of KAREN SUE STOUT
Karen Stout, 62, died December 30, 2012, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Karen was born on November 1, 1950, in Des Moines, to Jack and Charolette Stout.
Karen was employed with Link Associates from 1972 to 2012. She enjoyed all types of music, including Elvis and Johnny Cash. Karen loved swimming and puzzles. She played solitaire on her computer and enjoyed bowling. Chocolate was a favorite treat. Karen was very social and active in the community. She loved to talk and got along with everyone that she met.
Karen is survived by her sister, Sandra Moore of Ankeny; brother, David Stout of Des Moines; brother, Dick Stout of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pam Berger of Des Moines; sister, Sally Pickett of Des Moines; and brother, Dennis Stout of Des Moines.
There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
