The Life of Berry Moses
Berry Crowley "B.C." Moses (1927-2012) Funeral services for Berry Crowley "B.C." Moses, 85, of Kirtland, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Calvary Assembly of God, 28870 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills. Mr. Berry passed away Dec. 20, 2012, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby. Born May 5, 1927, in Williamsburg, Ky., he resided for over 52 years in Kirtland, previously residing in Cleveland. Mr. Berry retired after 32 years from Lincoln-Electric in Euclid, where he worked as a machinist. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed his family get-togethers, and was very devoted to his daughter''s Shih Tzu, D''Arcy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a longtime member of Calvary Assembly of God. Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Mary Elizabeth (nee Akins); daughter, Yvonne; siblings, George, LeeEtta and Mattie; many nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Polley (nee Moses); and siblings, Samuel, H.D., M.A., Cynthia and Nancy. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of B.C. from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor David Welle will officiate. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
