The Life of NORMA MAXINE CHIONO
Norma Chiono, 85, passed away at her home in Des Moines on Thursday, December 20, 2012.
Norma worked for the State of Iowa for 12 years, and at Maytag prior to her marriage. She was a member of Visitation Catholic Church in Des Moines. Norma enjoyed reading, collecting bears, and having breakfast at Dahl’s every morning with her friends.
Norma is survived by her son, Steven (Cheryl) Creed; daughter, Sherri (Ray) Russell; grandchildren, Brent Russell, Ryan Daniel, and Tony Davis; five great-grandchildren; and half sister, Neta Stoakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G., and her parents, Cecil and Mary (Bruce) Wyatt.
Memorial graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
